In a week, I have gone from staying up till 5am and sleeping till 3pm, playing video games, refreshing facebook and feeling like shit to trying to coordinate a tattoo apprenticeship, 3 6 hour shifts a week at my old job, 2 bands, and a variety of upcoming photoshoots. And most of that in the last few days. It's a massive head fuck, because I'm not used to having to be working on something 100% of the time because my free time has been decimated.

So much for not knowing what I want to do with my life. Now I'm planting foot after foot on a very clear path, instead of doing zero-gravity somersaults in a void.

Crazy how much things can change so quickly. And all of this at a time when others lives are changing equally as quickly, however not so much for the good. I'm deeply sad for many of my friends who have lost a parent, a child, or dealing with terrible illness in a loved one. I hope everything improves for everyone. It seems like this time of year heralds significant change for me and others each time it comes around. Maybe it's the onset of spring in a week or two?
